A backpacker walks in a deep gully that indicates extreme erosion. It's unclear what caused this, as it's not seen on other parts of the refuge. In some parts of this gully the walls were 10 to 12 feet high. Taken inside the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge.
