Plan ahead, always check weather conditions prior to your trip. Summer time temperatures often exceed 100° F.

Recreational Opportunities

Day hiking (cross-country), backpacking, wildlife watching, and a wide array of various other non-motorized/non-mechanized recreational opportunities.

Climate and Special Equipment Needs

Fall-Spring temperatures could range from as cold as 20° F at night to as warm as 90° F during the day.

Summer temperatures are often times range from 90°F to an excess of 100°F. Plan ahead and bring plenty of water.
