Wildness on the Water, Wambaw Creek Wilderness
What: In celebration of National Public Lands and the 40th anniversary of the Wilderness Act, join naturalist/guides and paddle the nationally recognized Wambaw Creek Kayak and Canoe Trail. Travel back through time and explore this black-water ecosystem where plantations were built and rice was cultivated. Stop in at Sewee Center for additional information and to view a new display featuring the Wilderness lands of South Carolina.When: September 19, 2004
