40th Anniversary Event Details

Walk for Wilderness - Albuquerque

What: Two walks will be offered, one with a distance of about 1 mile, the other with a distance of about 4 miles. Registration is at REI in Albuquerque, starting approximately September 18. Participants are limited to 120 people, and registration is required by October 17. Cost is $12 for adults, $7 for children 12 and under. Participants will receive a t-shirt and packet. Proceeds to go to a wilderness related project. Partners include the Forest Service, REI, and the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance.
When: October 23, 2004.
